TEHRAN — Iran is soon going to register the society of benevolent Iranians who have donated either money or property to build schools across the country at the UNESCO, Mohammad Reza Jafari, the head of public participation and school modernization organization reported.

Currently 24 thousand people have donated to school construction projects in Iran, Fars quoted Jafari as saying.

“Iran is going to host Safe Schools Conference in the next Iranian month (23 September to 22 October) with some countries’ education ministers in attendance, and we will introduce the assembly of contributors to school construction projects to the world,” Jafari said.

Such association is rather unique as it does not exist in other countries; therefore, this is a perfect opportunity to let the world know about it, Jafari noted.
